Big Tree in Torrens Park - Customer Review

Our boys were on site for 11 hours, providing our services to help prune this giant gumtree in Torrens Park. Unfortunately, this giant beauty is diseased with brown rot and other fungi, making the tree weak and brittle and prone to unexpectedly dropping branches. The tree was a safety hazard for the residents, and therefore some of the branches had to be removed.

We used our 200T crane with 72t counterweights at a 60m radius for this job. We were lifting branches that weighed up to 900kgs! We had two riggers on-site to assist in a job well done. AGL & Son Crane Hire are all for teamwork and enjoyed working alongside Cranesaw Australia - the dead and big tree specialists. I would highly recommend them if you need help with your tree removal or trimming project.

The following post from Westside Group "We could see the media headlines coming "Westside close busy city streets again - Cause major traffic chaos!". Luckily we've had a lot of practice so with our professional team working closely with the Adelaide City Council no-one really noticed. Well, sort of!
