AGL & Son Crane Hire was founded in 2000 as a service-oriented firm. We provide lifting, rigging, logistics, and transportation services in the residential, commercial, industrial, and domestic building industries.

We provide a personalised service to match each customer's unique project and engineering needs. This allows us to adapt and respond to the unique problems that each assignment presents.

We have a diverse fleet of well-maintained cranes ranging in lifting capability from a 3T mini crawler crane to a 200T Liebherr All Terrain crane and certified auxiliary lifting equipment heavy lifting equipment that is tested regularly.

Our expertise extends to ensuring that every lift is carried out safely. This is accomplished through an Occupational Health and Safety policy and strategy, annual equipment and lifting gear inspections.

Adrian is the founder and Managing Director of AGL & Son Crane Hire and he has built the business from humble beginnings with a single crane to a technologically advanced fleet which continues to grow. He is very involved with the day to day activities of the business and personally conducts all site inspections and develops all quotations.

Heather Tuckwell
(Operations Manager)

Heather has more than 2 decades crane industry experience and oversees all operational aspects of the business. She manages the end to end service requirements for all projects with a high level of skills and professionalism, including the development of project-specific SWMS, lift plans and lift studies using Liccon intelligent technology, and Kranxpert and 3D Liftplanner software solutions. Heather is the key contact for our clients for all service requests.
