    Latest addition to our fleet – 200-tonne Liebherr crane

    The Liebherr 200 Tonne LTM 1200-5.1 mobile all terrain crane is the latest addition to our fleet, commissioned in August 2018 as part of our fleet renewal and expansion program. Capable of lifts in excess of a 76m radius or placing loads up to a height of 92m, this crane has the following key attributes:
    - Variobase - variable support base exclusive to Liebherr to improve the already exceptional mobility, manoeuvrability,long telescopic boom/fly and high lifting capacities.
    - Accuracy, precision and safety, with the advanced LICCON On-Board Work Planner, a technology unique to Liebherr cranes.

    Liebherr’s engineering and technologies provide our clients with a crane capable of performing difficult lifts, with flexibility, while setting and monitoring safe work area limitations. This is especially relevant when handling complex lifts, such as working areas impeded by many obstacles, including buildings, power lines, other plant and machinery.

    DAF 9.2m Tilt Tray Truck

    The DAF 9.2m Tilt Tray Truck further expands transportation services offered by AGL & Son Crane Hire. Acquired as part of our fleet renewal and expansion program, the truck is available for hire as of August 2013 and compliments our cranes and drop deck trailers.

    With a capacity of 13.5 tonnes, the tilt tray truck can be loaded at ground-level, not requiring low loaders or drop decks to transport. This vehicle is perfect for carrying containers, machinery, vehicles, plants and equipment.

    Mawson Lakes

    The Mawson Lakes Centre construction is nearing completion with our cranes and crew assisting in various lifts including reo, mesh, stillages etc.

    Also at Mawson Lakes, AGL recently lifted the new Travelators into place on behalf of Mick Carrol Crane & Rigging Services from NSW.

    We also thank builders Marshall & Brougham for their support.

    Walkerville Shopping Centre

    Both our 55-tonne and 95-tonne cranes have been in action, installing roofing panels on site on behalf of S & LJ Roofing.

    Other projects for S & LJ Roofing have included the Australian Federal Police at Adelaide Airport, Mt. Gambier Hardware and Allied Mills at Mile End.

    Lyell McEwin Hospital

    Work continues at the Lyell McEwin Hospital with the redevelopment nearing completion. We are proudly assisting both Mitcon Formwork and Saccardo Constructions with Crane Hire.

    Both our 55-tonne and 95-tonne Liebherr Cranes have been in action on site.
